FALSE: Resident’s don’t have to sell their land, talk to your friends and neighbor and encourage them not to sell their land, donate your land to the Forest Preserve or the Campton Township. Put your land into a conservation easement so it can’t be developed, buy land that is currently owned by developers and then donate it to the Township or Forest Preserve or put a conservation easement so it can’t be developed. In other words, open space costs money. All the Village can do is regulate how the property is developed. |
