School Districts in VCH
You have probably heard and maybe even seen some information about your school district.

See what VCH has not told you.

There are 3) School Districts in VCH.  St. Charles  CUSD 303; Central CUSD School District 301; Kaneland CUSD School District 302.

The largest school district in VCH is St. Charles D303, with just under 14,000 students and a @$160,000,000.00 Budget. However D303 school district encompasses St. Charles, South Elgin, VCH, Elgin, Wayne, West Chicago, Elburn & Campton Twp.,. School District and Municipal boundaries are independent of one another.

Two Political Campaigns were waged telling the voters that VCH would save our School District from the financial burden
of over Development. First, which school district? Some information indicated D303. VCH has maybe 500-600 acres of undeveloped land that could support residential development within D303. With the Land Cash increase that VCH recently passed this would bring maybe an additional $3-4,000,000. into the district over the 10-20 years that these properties will be developed. That is maybe $150,000-300,000 a year in a district with a $160,000,000. budget.  The proponents of VCH have been quoting, miss leading and inaccurate deficit projections for nearly two years. D303 does not recognize these projections and has endorsed their own most recent projections showing a significant decrease in growth, even before the current economic slow down.  Last year the d303 had nearly a $7,000,000 surplus. All school board members could now come from just one side of the river.
