Who do you Believe
?

  • The Politian’s and Lawyers, or
  • Your neighbors

What do you Believe?

  • What the Politian’s tell you, or
  • What you see and hear at Board meetings.

Why do you believe?

  • Because the Village law firms say it’s what is best for you, or the residents in the 26 neighborhoods who have decided what is best for them.

How do you believe?
Politicians whom have been paid thousands with your tax money, or concerned citizens spending hundreds, if not thousands of their own dollars to free themselves from the tyranny, being imposed on them by the Village over their right of self-determination.
Your village is doing to it's own residents, exactly what the village people say, Elgin was doing to Campton Township residents. Want to know why people outside or community are laughing?

Seeing, is believing…

  • A rushed three day annexation of property on the Villages far West end. We were told it was because this would protect or water recharge areas. Not only is there not a recharge area there, there is no annexation agreement to protect this non-existent recharge. What’s the real story?

    Village of Campton Hills Annexation
    Ordinance No. 0-08-04
    Ordinance No. 0-08-30

  • Intentional misrepresentations of the facts, as to why we needed to incorporate. See Promises Made / Promised Broken.

  • Outright fabrications as to whom was funding the Stop Campton Hills PAC opposition. This included someone falsifying, Stop Campton Hills PAC documents, and then displaying them on the internet as real.

  • No publicly accessible documents showing where the monies came from to create the village. Preserve Campton filed as a non-for profit, saying they were only educating to public. Yet they campaigned intensively for this new corporation they wanted to create, which means they should have filed as a Political Action Committee, not as a non-for profit. The reason for this type of filing is so they did not have to show you whom gave them money, which a PAC filing does. The only documents that can be found is a late filing, filed in 2005 showing $57,000 in income. Only $6000 shows the source of income. Where did the other $51,000 come from and where are the 2006 & 2007 filings? Stop Campton Hills PAC has not only filed their paperwork timely, and accurately, the supposed penalty that was FrontPage news was proven false, no penalty

  • The original incorporation was done over a weekend and filed Monday morning at
8 am. This was done, to thwart any potential opposition to their clandestine mission. The few hundred signatures that we collected were but a fraction of the 2800 plus signatures that were gathered over 14 days in the light of day last November, with lots of information and vocal opposition. Yet the village fought this principle of self-determination with all its legal force and tax monies in hand.
  • This list could go on and on. By now you get the point. We hope that even if you’re a proponent to the village, that by the time you navigate through this web site that you will at least have some understanding as to why we, the concerned residents of this new municipal corporation, are asking for a yes vote, November 4th. To dissolve what should never have been.
